NO NEW KILLINASKULLY EPISODES WILL BE AIRED!

SERIES 5 (2008)

The Will

The tranquillity of the pub is shattered when Theo moves in upstairs with a dangerous money lender hot on his heels. With Theo now a penniless orphan, Goretti takes to the ouija board to seek help from beyond the grave, proving that where there's a will there's more than one way.

Broadcast: 28 September 2008; 8:30pm

The Festival

It's festival time and hordes of mountainy men descent on Killinaskully to contest the bachelor competition. The hopes of the village rest on Jimmy and his robotic dance but with the life-drawing class and tantric yoga proving a distraction, Dan and the boys are likely to get themselves into a twist...

Broadcast: 5 October 2008; 8:30pm

The Rally

Timmy's science fiction comics go to his head when he is kidnapped by two manic dustmen. With Killinaskully gearing up for the annual motor rally, Sgt. Dick's secret potion should give Dan and his crew the edge, but it's a good bet that the Bally Boys are hiding something under the bonnet.

Broadcast: 12 October 2008; 8:30pm

The Trial

While helping Sgt. Dick liberate some furniture, Dan, Timmy and Jimmy are banged up by an over zealous superintendent. It will take all of Theo's oratorical skills, Willie's cunning and a Lazarus-like star witness, to make sure they won't go down.

Broadcast: 19 October 2008; 8:30pm

The Heist

It looks like Dan's distinguished life on the dole is coming to an end when he pens an ill-tempered letter to the minister. There's nothing for it but to retrieve the offending post, but with a shop full of pensioners, a swat team and a rebel with a parcel bomb to contend with, Mr. Green and Mr. Pink have their work cut out for them.

Broadcast: 26 October 2008; 8:30pm

The Nature Walk

It's Halloween and Cantwell manages to lose himself and his entire class on a school trip to the forest. Eating mushrooms only complicates matters and, when Dan takes charge of the search party, the whole affair turns into a circus - literally.

Broadcast: 6 November 2008; 8:30pm

A Two Part Christmas Special was also broadcast on Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2008.

SERIES 4 (2007)

The Horse Whisperer

Pa Connors has yet another get rich quick scheme while Jacksie bans speaking English in the pub.  Pa soon finds that the course of true love does not run smoothly, especially where horses are involved.

Broadcast: 2007

The Stoats

With a by-pass threatening the future of the village, and rumours circulating about the arrival of the Olympics, it would take all of Willie Power's cunning to save the day.  Unfortunately, Willie is too busy trying to become a stoat.

Broadcast: 2007

The Crime Spree

With Killinaskully in the grip of a crime spree, a concert by country singer turned rapper, Big Diddy, might bring some relief.  However, with Timmy playing records backwards, he might be facing a rap himself.

Broadcast: 2007

The Visitor

An old scouting buddy of Dan's proves popular with the locals even though Dan has no recollection of ever meeting him.  When the visitor dips his hand in everyone's pocket it might be time for Dan to turn detective.

A mysterious stranger with an intriguing map lures Dan on a spectacular treasure hunt.  With a giant golf ball on the loose and the dreaded Bally Boys up to their own tricks it will probably end in a crushing defeat.

The Wedding

Things are looking up for Dieter when Catherine returns from her travels and agrees to be his bride.  But with fighting in-laws and Timmy in charge of the rings, it'll be a miracle if anyone gets taken up the aisle.

Broadcast: 2007

Christmas Special: The Last Round

When Jacksie nails a 'For Sale' sign to the outside of the bar, it looks set to be a cruel Yule for Dan and his drinking buddies. As they contemplate a future without their beloved boozer, Jacksie reveals a dramatic secret.  Meanwhile the regulars reminisce, recalling a famous pub quiz victory, and the time that Timmy was taught a difficult science lesson. When it looks like things couldn't get any worse, Bunty Clarke and the Diehards fail to show for Jacksie's closing down concert. Luckily, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a little seasonal miracle, so after Jacksie reveals his true intentions, some surprise celebrity guests show up to ensure a Rock 'n' Roll Christmas for the inhabitants of Ireland's favourite village.

A visit to the madcap village of Killinaskully will no doubt have you in stitches.  Old favourites such as Dan Clancy, Timmy Higgins, Jacksie Walsh and Pa Connors have once again been brought to life by the writing team of comic Pat Shortt and Limerick writer, Mick Finn. Limerick native, Eugene O'Connor has also returned for a third series in the director's chair.

Broadcast: 12 December 2008; 9:40pm.
